Met a great actor and an ardent lover of literature........!

In an interview for TV Ceylon, asked him about method acting, Image of an film actor, developing appreciation of films, his involvement with literature and about the reception to his film "Hey Ram" etc.etc. I was amazed by his touch with the latest in English poetry and Tamil literature, old and new.

Our conversation was not one sided, he listens with real interest when I say about Kavignar V.I.S.Jeyapalan and his poem "Paddanar Panpaduthi Palamarangal Naddi vaitha....." and about our Radio Ceylon days etc.etc.

their film "A Streetcar Named Desire"and works of SriLankan born Tamil writer Michael Ondaatje (Anil's Ghost), presently in Canada.
