In 1981 or 82, for a festivel at Suthumalai Amman temple, TMS Selvakumar (Son of T.M.Soundararajan) and T.L.Maharajan (son of Thiruchi Loganathan) were brought down to sing and the crowd was massive streaching to about half mile, filling out the entire paddy fields on the side of the temple. Stage was setup with three stairs, with myself (the compere of the show) along with the singers and one musician on the top stairs and the other members of the music group were on the second stairs. In the third stairs, the sound people with their equipments were stationed. I was little nervous at the start looking down at that crowd, but later on picked up the threads and did my job smoothly. On the following day, we all went to Gnanams Studio in Jaffna to take this photo.
